Editor’s Note- Why does StartOptions Suck in 50 Words

Much like most other MarketPunter brands, the trading platform is too simple and limited, making trading easy for beginners but boring for experts. Without any real differences from other brokers, StartOptions stands in a point where change is needed to keep up with the modern trading technology already available.

Why doesn’t StartOptions Suck in 50 Words

The lack of trading options and the relatively low number of assets could harm the trading experience, but it could also help beginners get going smoothly. Sometimes the less is better, but I really don’t know how that would hold up in today’s competition.

StartOption Full Review- Not for veterans

Launched on early 2010, StartOptions was introduced as the trading name MarketPunter and is managed by Market Punter Pty Ltd, a regulated binary options broker in Australia. Similar to the other platforms for binary option trading, Start Options Platform is 100% web-based using the technology of MarketPunter so there is no need to download and install software. The site is available in 11 different languages including English, Russian, etc., organized and overall user-friendly. After depositing the minimum amount an investor is entitled for a free tutorial and demo. StartOptions superiority over most other Brokers is probably the big bonuses they hand out, starting at 250$ minimum for a 250$ deposit and up to 2000$(!) for 1000$ deposit. StartOptions also offer an advanced system that offers a bonus over time and amount of investments already made- as long as you make more trades the bonus will keep on growing wheatear you win or lose. So why does StartOptions Suck? Because it’s just too simple, there aren’t too many extra features such as touch or range options which could limit the profitability and the fun for experienced traders. Begginers, on the other hand, will enjoy the simplicity of the platform and moreover, investors can trade without any worries for their profits since Start Options Regulated. The downside for beginners is the relatively low bonus- only 100$ for a 500$ deposit. Most brokers offer their bonus from a lower initial deposit- 100\200$ at least, for an average 30-35% bonus. It means that if you are a beginner, you could deposit 200$ for the first, not a significant amount, and receive 60-70$ bonus. Now you can start trading with a sufficient amount of cash, but to invest less from the begging. Start Options bonus starts only at 500$ deposit although the minimum deposit is 100$, which is significantly higher than most other brokers. To be fair, the bonus for the maximum deposit is edging 50%. Finally, To make simple – Beginners will not find what they are looking for in Start Options. The fact that initial bonus is available only for a 500$ deposit and is very low percentage, plus the above the average minimum invest (30$) transforms StartOptions into a “lucrative” broker

Is StartOptions Scam?

At BinaryOptionsthatsuck.com we don’t just write a review and then just leave it there without any updates. Last time we interviewed StartOptions, we mostly talked about minor issues, such as bonus and so. We assumed that since StartOptions are based on a regulated binary options platform there’s nothing real to complain about, besides those minor issues. Well, the last review was written over 4 months ago, some things have changed in binary options industry. The amazing growth of binary trading lead to different directions, some brokers invested more in trading platforms and trading tools, some invested in education, but all binary options are awaiting a real change in the field of regulation. One of the first countries which allowed certain regulation is Australia, MarkerPanter became the first regulated trading platform. As a result, all brokers operating via that platform became regulated. Unfortunately, regulation rules have changed again, some companies lost their regulation. Yet, the ASIC regulation status is unclear. This doesn’t mean that any company, such as StartOptions, working with MarketPanter is a scam of course. While the situation with the Australian regulation is unclear, except from one or two recommended brokers who already received the new regulation, BOTS.com doesn’t really have a final answer. Without regulation, StartOptions remains an average maybe below average binary options broker, not a fraud by all means. We will keep monitoring their progress.

Try it yourselves! Anyway, searching for StartOptions complaints is not an easy task. We couldn’t find more than one or two comments regarding StartOptions, therefore we cannot establish a firm conclusion.

Start Options is 100% web based MarketPunter platform, so there’s for software to be downloaded. The website is a little messy as the size of the text is too small and there are too many details to contain. Start Options offer its customers a short and very understandable demo and other extra binary options tutorials to simplify and explain all terms and tricks for trading. Overall, the site is user- friendly and easy to use since there aren’t too many extra options.

Total of 63 Assets: 40 stocks, 11 currencies (forex), 6 commodities, 6 indices make Start Options offer a wide amount of assets either for beginners or experts, the downside is the options expiry- only until the end of the day.

Commissions, Support and Effective return 13/20

StartOptions do not charge any fees or commissions from investors when they deposit or purchase options. For withdrawing via credit card withdrawals are free of charge, wire transfer charge 25$. StartOptions support is available only via four international numbers (including the Far East), in English or French, or via email. The live chat, available 24/7, was very slow in the few times we have tried to contact them, a downside for the service which was polite after finally responded. The effective return is competitive to the industry, up to 85% In-The-Money and up to 10% Out-Of-Money.

Deposit, Payment and Bonus 12/20

StartOptions is regulated. Minimum deposit is average/low- 100$ or 100€- depends on the currency used. Deposit is available via Credit card, Wire transfer or CashU. Withdrawals are not limited to a minimum withdrawal and available via the same methods. Additional withdrawal fees do not apply on C.C. StartOptions bonus goes up to 50% or 2000$ which is above average, but only applied to 500$ minimum deposit.

Website Extra’s 8/20

StartOptions offers its clients with various learning tutorials, much more than most other brokers, making them a good place for beginners from the learning aspect. Another nice extra is the “Sentiment” chart, showing a percentage of put/call options made by others. The major downside of StartOptions is the lack of any kind of special features. StartOptions platform is clean and simple, and the trading options are very limited to the basics.
